Dr. Katske is a specialist in all forms of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery. Since 1980,
Dr. Katske has performed over 10,000 major surgical procedures on the lungs, esophagus and chest wall. He has also performed over 5,000 open heart surgical operations including all phases of valvular heart surgery and coronary artery bypass surgery.
Dr. Katske is an acknowledged expert in the management of cancer of the lung, chest and esophagus. He is an expert in the management of non-malignant diseases of the chest including hyperhidrosis, spontaneous pneumothorax, reconstructive surgery of the chest and esophageal reflux disease.
